Why no CAROUSEL video clips? |

This. If you can find me professional footage of a Rudin musical currently running on Broadway, props to you.
With plays he can be a little more lenient depending on the situation (A Doll's House Part 2, for example), but even this season he's stuck primarily with black-and-white images and no footage for his plays (Three Tall Women, The Iceman Cometh).
There's no video clips but Renee Fleming did sing YNWA on NPR this morning:

And those clips are what made me decide to put the show back on my list of shows for June. I had it high on my list initially then took it off, but I’m almost certain now that I’ll see it in June. I’m going in with muted expectations though.

Seriously, don't do it to yourself.
There are much better shows on offer.

I’m aware. I'm seeing 8 productions this time. Mostly non-musicals this time, but I will also see My Fair Lady, Once on This Island, and Spongebob. I have zero interest in Frozen, Mean Girls, Margaritaville, or Summer of the new shows. Also, no interest in Beautiful, A Bronx Tale or Anastasia. I’ve pretty much seen everything else musical-wise. I would love to see Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, The Band’s Visit or Wicked again, but I usually prefer to limit my NYC trips to shows I haven’t seen before (only exceptions so far are Hello, Dolly! and American Idiot). I’m seeing The Book of Mormon again tomorrow night in OKC. At worst, Carousel will be a palate-cleanser that will elevate the other sure-to-be-excellent shows in comparison.

Go to Mean Girls it is a lot of fun, the staging is great as is the choreography and the cast do a good job.
It is MUCH better than Carousel even if the subject matter doesn't appeal.
Island and Spongebob are great fun but I think I probably enjoyed Mean Girls a little more than both of them.
I would recommend Amy and the Orphans but it's finished I think.
