Anyone know when the tickets for the Actors Fund performance of Three Tall Women go on sale?

Got a ticket for this! Anyone know why tickets were only $40? Also heard rumor Glenda Jackson isn’t doing this performance. Anyone heard anything?

Isn’t that something they would announce before putting tickets on sale?

Yeah, that would be odd for Jackson to miss this midnight Actors Fund Show since they have been advertising it as a performance for other actors who are working in other shows to get a chance to see the production.

I’ll be in town that week, and am very interested in that midnight show, but am worried about Glenda Jackson, Allison Pill, and Laurie Metcalf not performing it. I could easily see them doing the 7:30 performance, and then leaving, and letting their understudies do the midnight show... is there any way to find out if any of them plan on doing the Actir’s Fund performance in advance?

I got a ticket earlier this week. Laurie Metcalf did the midnight performance for a Doll's House Part 2 last year so I doubt she would miss this one. I don't think any producer would schedule a midnight performance without asking his leads first. Other shows are doing 3PM Sunday performances since those are much bigger casts and longer shows. So, they definitely had the option of holding their Actors Fund performance at another time. I'd say it's a safe bet to assume they'll all be in, but I do think the show is sold out at this point.

Why would they miss performing for all of their friends and peers in other shows?!

Much like the late night performance of Doll's House Part 2, part of the reason for the unusual scheduling is to allow Tony Voters who are only in town for limited amount of time for the Road Show Conference (??is that what it is called--sorry if wrong) to be able to schedule a show they otherwise might have missed. Personally it strikes me at less than ideal to ack the cast to perform at that hour, but Glenda Jackson probably has more energy even at that hour than I do in the middle of the day.

I bought a ticket for this and am seeing Long Day’s Journey at 7:30. Run time is 3 and 20. Am I crazy to think I’ll make it from BAM to the Golden by midnight?

I thought the show started at 11:45? In that case, as long as the 3 hr. 20 min. includes intermission and the trains are running on time, you'll make it with like 10 minutes to spare. That's the ideal though. Good luck!
