Netflix's new "Lost In Space" certainly has blasted off with a good first season. So far, they have been able to maintain the "family centric" and "humanity" that was a big part of the original show's first couple of seasons. (Not to mention, blowing the stupid movie version into a big black hole).

The way they have turned the Dr. Smith character into a nefarious scheming woman (with Parker Posey doing a great job as the "villain"Netflix is also lots of fun. The new Robot is catchy too. Netflix has spent a lot of money on this too; and so far, great special effects, not any nudity or super gory violence...definitely watchable with youngsters and tweens.

Binged this in the span of two days! Lol. Thought it was cheesy at some points and the sons acting is really something, but I enjoyed it overall. I’ll definitely watch the second season.
And I remember this musical I remember their brilliance And I might never sleep again...

On my to watch list.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

With its parallel present/past flashback storylines, each episode usually following one character's past, and the edgy-PG tone, it reminds me more than anything of "LOST... in space."

Parker Posey's "Dr. Smith" is a delightfully cringe character: presented with opportunity after opportunity to do the right thing, she hesitates, waffles and always, ALWAYS chooses wrong.

She did chose to save the entire family instead of just herself during the engine/fuel crisis.
