Classical Legit Soprano Songs NOT about love

Hi friends! I am searching for a pre-1960 legit soprano song that is NOT about love!! I am having such a difficult time finding one--especially one that I connect with. The song could be an uptempo or a ballad (or if you know one from both, that's a plus :) ). 

The only one I really have so far is "This Is All Very New to Me" from Plain and Fancy.
