In my opinion, she fared much better in this then she ever did in Glee and this turned me on much more to her prospects in the movie.

Her 15 minutes of fame expired years ago and her post-GLEE efforts have colossally failed so she needs to re-invent herself completely as this Broadway brand she’s been trying to carry over hasn’t worked for her whatsoever. This sad appearance on AMERICAN IDOL is eye-rolling as it’s affected and obviously calculated. Sweetie, this new generation of young ones discovering AMERICAN IDOL have NO clue of your Broadway career nor even know what GLEE was... nor care.

Brody, that’s a little harsh. Let her rise or (likely) fail as she does. I will say, I thought this YouTube was incredibly mediocre. Saw the original Broadway cast, never need to see this again.

The best part was the title of the vid giving credit to Idina.  Lol.    

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Ugh there’s so much auto-tune on their microphones. I hate that these singing shows do that.

1. Lea Michele is barely relevant anymore. Today's teenage Wicked fans hardly know who she is, so using her for "star-casting" just wouldn't work now. That ship sailed at least five years ago.

2. I thought she sounded pretty much the same here as she did on Glee. I'd rather a more powerhouse voice in the role.
