Ethan Slater out tonight

I tried searching for Ethan's replacements info and I'm sure I will be called out for not finding a thread, but a family member went to see the show today--texted me they were so upset Ethan wasn't in--and then said the show was fabulous. Her family had nothing to compare Ethan's replacement to, but they loved the show. I read the threads about Patrick and Squidwords replacements but anyone see  Ethan's?

Curtis Holbrook? My coworker went last weekend and Ethan was also out then. He must be on a long vacation?

Ethan is not on vacation. He’s just been missing some shows recently. The role is very demanding and I’m surprised it took him this long to miss some. I’m hoping they don’t begin an alternate schedule, and if they do, I think they should cast an official alternate other than Curtis (just my personal opinion, after seeing both Slater and Curtis)

Curtis Holbrook is Ethan's understudy, not his replacement. If Ethan is there, Curtis plays an ensemble track. Curtis is a Broadway veteran and he's very good. Ethan is not on a long vacation. However, he's been kind of ill recently and has been taking a few days off, usually matinees. Also, Jesse Johnson also does the Spongebob track but he is out on an injury.

Just confirmed they saw Curtis--they all loved the show. We want to see it again, and adored Ethan. I know other people filling in are always top-notch--but Ethan was so great it was good to hear Curtis was as well.

I saw the sunday evening show yesterday and Ethan was in. Show was fun! Kind of loud though
