Hi All.  Has anyone tried for Rush tickets for Donna Summer?  Any reports on how long the line has been or where seat locations are?

I have searched through the other Summer thread and have found nothing on this.  Any information is very appreciated.

Thank you!

The rush was not too crazy last week. I think there were 10 people on line when the box office opened.

Seats are in the boxes, I usually hate... but in the Lunt they are actually quite nice and get you very close to to the action without feeling too far over to the side.

I rushed on the 12th and got there at about 9:15 and there were only five or so people in front of me (all five getting 2 tickets)

They only have a certain amount of tickets and most of the seven or so people behind me who got there at 9:50/10 didn't get seats. From what the guy at the box office said, the first sets of tickets are in the boxes and the rest are single seats either in the front row or on the sides of the orchestra

Went to the box office the other afternoon and asked about rush. I was told they only sell rush tickets to the people who are in line for rush at 10:00am. Very odd... does anyone else know of a rush like this?

Ave q At NWS. Only sells rush seats for a half hour. Or at least they used to follow that rule.

Sounds like they're doing everyone who shows up after 10 a.m. a favor.

Who would get up early and stand in a rush line for this sh*t show?  Where is your dignity?

Q only sells half of the first row I think and they sell them until they are gone from what I understand. Do any shows still do loser lottery prices?

Rushed this morning, arrived 9:30 am there was only one other person there. By 10 am only 2 other people came. Only options were box seats or single seats in the orchestra extreme sides (they could do one in front of the other if you are 2 people). Seeing it tonight wish me luck

Rush was $40. And the view from the box was fabulous! Though it’s not a true box really it’s just an extension of the mezz. I loved the seat. The show not so much lol. Reviews are spot on. Good performances bad material.

Any updates?  This is the only show I don't have a ticket in advance.  I would hate to get up extra early if i don't have to.

Also interested in knowing if they still only sell rush when the box office opens. Do they then just send the unsold rush to TKTS?

I did rush last Wednesday, I think I got there are around 9:45am and there were 15-20 people in line ahead of me. Since it was a two show day, they separated us into two lines based on if we wanted tickets for the 2pm or 8pm. I ended up paying $40 for a matinee seat that was in the last row of the orchestra.

In terms of my own personal taste, I thought the show was awful and about as narratively coherent as a Wikipedia page. But if you're into the songs, it looked like a lot of people in the audience were having a good time.

I rushed the show Sunday of last week for the matinee.  Wasn't sure how early to get there so I got there at 9am, and I was the 2nd person in line.  With it being a Sunday the box office opened at Noon.  I got a box seat - fantastic seat for $40.  Can't beat that.

Really enjoyed the show as it's a love fest for Donna and her music.

Yes, waited for 3 hours.  No big deal and it's nice to chit chat with the people in line.

It was interesting because the day before on Saturday, there must have been at least 100 people in line as it was a 2 show day.  So, I wanted to make sure I got there early.  By the time the box office opened at Noon there were probably 30 people in line.

So the question everyone asks... how many do you think got in?

Everyone got in on the Sunday that I rushed.  They were only selling single tickets for the boxes.  Everyone else got the rear mezz.  Not sure on Sat how many people got tickets as it was very crowded, and it was a 2 show day.
