Saw the worst American Idiot at a regional theatre in Columbia, SC. They shot confetti at the audience at the end of the show. And that pretty much sums up the night of foa-theatre kids thrashing around doing stolen staging in hot topic shirts: inadapt of tone and self masturbatory for the production team/cast.
The current revival of Hello Dolly! had confetti canons the first time I saw it (third preview) that have since disappeared.
Spamalot had confetti.

Hamilton had confetti from “It’s Quiet Uptown” through the end of the show.

Every single time I see a show at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, they always shoot out confetti at the end, especially for "Romy and Michele" and "Mamma Mia!".
