Would broadway be affected if the purge was real?

The bootlegging high schoolers would come out in droves.

Watch in horror as hormonal teenagers go backstage at Hansen for some "Fun," and Hello, Dolly's staff impose even stricter rules, or board off entirely. Come From Away remains peaceful, as they actually have a pretty cool fan base. Aladdin, Lion King, and Frozen have a nice audience of children, who are protected from disaster. Angels, Bands Visit and other shows like those have business as usual with extra security. Extra Margaritas over at Margaritaville! Fans start to break into Hamilton and Harry Potter, for they are too powerful. Both Bernadette Peters and Bette Midler are laying dead in the streets, with Denzel Washington and Ben Platt by their sides. Mean Girls has a graphic special, but My Fair Lady and Phantom fair well in this apocalyptic scenario. School of Rock and Spongebob break building codes and everybody gets in for free. Waitress has free pies and pie-face people in the audience.

Some positives, some negatives. I don't think this scenario is ideal by any means, but the show must go on! (Disclaimer: Half of this is a joke and I do not wish death or harm upon any actor on Broadway)

No, there'd be no shows that night.

Rocktopia producers would be ecstatic - they wouldn’t have to pay their cast.

Well, I think there would be fewer people giving every show standing ovations cause some of them would, you know, be dead.

I think I’d just be worried casting angencies would become bloodbaths. Imagine the amount of people who never got cast.

And I remember this musical I remember their brilliance And I might never sleep again...

Imagine the bloodbath if Patti Lupone saw someone in the audience on a phone.
