I will be in Vegas in November to run the Rock N Roll "Strip at Night" Marathon.  Really looking forward to seeing this show.

They've got an actress listed as Norma Jean and another as Marilyn... yeah, sounds like they're trying to beat Bombshell to the punch.

I hope Bombshell doesn't give up. I can almost guarantee Bombshell's score will be ten times better then this.

Noooooooo Marilyn! The New Musical

(I refuse to believe this! It has to! Even if it's a weird SMASH/Bombshell hybrid.)

Just bought my ticket to see "Marilyn!" in November, the night before I run the "Strip at Night" marathon.  I'm happy!

Like Cyrano de Bergerac, this seems to be a subject everyone wants to try to musicalize.  Regardless, there will never be a hotter DiMaggio than Scott Bakula in 1983.

I think Vegas is going to be a tough city to please with Marilyn- but maybe that's what they are looking for so they can tweak it before it goes anywhere else after.  Musicals seems to do well there but usually when the show is internationally known all ready - like Jersey Boys and Hairspray - both closed now.  Million Dollar Quartet also ran for a couple of years.  Vegas is also thriving on Headliners - and with no names to draw you to this show - i'm not sure Marilyn will have the bite to keep them buying tickets.  I hope the

I hope the show is more of her behind the scenes life, more like the movie "My Week With Marilyn"  It was more of a tragic depiction of her so called glamorous life.  The show opens soon - we'll see if diamonds are anyone's best friend!

I attended a full-out staged reading of this - let's just say that it was not ready for prime time in any department and unless there's been a complete rewrite and rethink, I'm not sure how they actually got anyone to do this.
