This Week : [Title of Show]

We are delighted to present this Obie-Award winning and Tony-nominated musical in its first production since the successful off-Broadway run at the Vineyard, which was followed by a Broadway run at The Lyceum.

[title of show] is a musical within a musical. This funny and smart show chronicles it’s own creation as an entry in the New York Musical Festival [NYMF]: It follows the struggles of the author, composer/lyricist, and their two actress friends during the initial three week creative period, along with the subsequent events that lead up to the show’s production.

ST's production stars Jason Moody as Jeff, Jeffrey Scott Stevens as Hunter, Chelsea Barker as Heidi, Jennifer Swiderski as Susan, and Musical Director Christopher Lengerich as Larry.

Tickets are $18 Adv/$20 Door and are now available online Tickets by calling 718-392-0722. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Box Office, after 5:30 pm Tuesday-Sunday.

Are you high? There have been tons of productions of this show since it played on Broadway. You aren’t the first.

Seriously. I saw a production in Seattle several years ago. And there have been many others since the Broadway run. It’s played London and other countries as well. Many notable productions can easily be found on the wikepidia page for the show.

Maybe they meant first production in NYC.

I don't know if professionally (is the LIC even a pro theatre?), but schools have done it. NYU did it a while back, in ~2013.
