Sorry if this has been discussed before but has anyone done a matinee and then followed it up with Sleep No More than evening?  I'm planning my summer trip and it would be my first time doing Sleep No More so wanted to know if I should take it easy before since I know it lasts 3 hours and a lot of walking around the performance space and from all accounts can be an emotionally exhausting experience and wanted to see if anyone else had done it and would suggest against trying to squeeze in a show before or not.  Thanks for any advice.

2 years ago on a Sunday I did matinee of Noises Off, evening performance of Aladdin and then Then She Fell (off-broadway immersive show similar to Sleep No More) in Brooklyn. I think you’ll be fine.

Unless you are 75 and/or ailing, you should be fine.  It's not THAT strenous.  More so than sitting passively, sure...but nothing crazy.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Sleep No More lasts as long as you want, not three hours.

I saw a matinee of War Horse, evening performance of How to Succeed, and then did the late night Sleep No More on a Saturday back in 2011.  It was a long day, but it was not a problem to do all of that - and I am neither a spring chicken nor athletic.

At Sleep No More, I really got swept up into it all and did not really think too much about all the walking and stair climbing.
