My two young neighbors (8 and 10) asked if I would join them for Saturday's march.  Of course, I said "yes".  There are three separate marches here in San Diego County.  We will march in the downtown event, estimated to draw upwards of 10,000 participants.  

There will be some 800 marches worldwide.  Will there be a march in your area?  Will you march?

In Orlando right now. We’re getting ready to march to Marco Rubio’s office. Thousands of people here. I’m terrible at estimating these things but it’s definitely in the thousands.

I went to one in the town next to mine in rural northwest New Jersey. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of people. I was expecting maybe 15 to 20 because it is Republican and gun lover land. There were maybe 300-350 people. We don't know if others traveled to other marches or not. But, of any protests on the green there, this is the biggest I have seen.

Our march attracted 30,000.  It was centered near our County Administration Building, with much of the march taking place along the harbor.  It was a beautiful day, with everyone in good spirits.  But I don't think any of us forgot (or will forget) why we were there.  Did these marches accomplish anything?  I hope so.

I attended the March in Denver. It’s estimated 100,000 people attended. A student from Stoneman Douglas spoke and it was incredibly moving.

It just MIGHT make a difference. They are registering young first time voters who see this as a sacred duty. and they can't be bought or bribed  If they can cont to maintain the level of commitment they have shown, come Nov 2018 they gonna be sum new sherriffs in town!

Local newspaper said there were about 500 at the 1 I attended. And over 10,000 in Morristown, Nj. Not bad for unknown areas.

Also read about a group going to Trenton on Monday to counter protest. I'm kind of dying to know how many people go to that.

They predicted 10-15,000 would show up to the Orlando march. The actual number ended up being approximately 25,000. By comparison, our Women’s march drew about 8,000 people.

It was a good march, with good speeches, and we were led by the likes of Mayor Dyer (who I love), Val Demings, and a slew of congressmen and women.

I was proud of central Florida today. Hopefully these marchers all remember this and vote in November.
