I’m not sure about the first row, but I’ve always bought “rear mezz” seats there, which aren’t rear at all because there are only like six rows in the mezz. I always get fourth row aisle and they are AMAZING seats, especially if you’re a Hiptix member, they are only $25.
Now, I have NEVER seen a show there that I’ve enjoyed but the seats are great! Haha
Thanks! I'd happily get a less expensive rear mezzanine seat, but none are showing up. In fact, even the mezzanine and orchestra seats (for Travesties) that are supposed to $99 with the BB discount code come up saying "$99-$149" and then you click and it's just $149. Any ideas about that?
Unfortunately I'm well over the age limit for HipTix.
I'm doing some investigating for you, and the discount wasn't working on my phone, but I got it to work on my iPad, and my laptop. What date are you looking at? Also, it looks like every row in the mezzanine has a rail. I've never been to this theatre, but it looks like the bar is pretty high.
Thanks for your help. I was using my MacBook and my iMac at work and having the problem on both.
Right now I’m looking at Friday, March 30, although I’m flexible. I snagged the only ticket left in the loge (save for far, far right/left) for My Fair Lady for March 31, so I’m coming up to NYC that weekend.
Travesties sounds right up my alley for a play. Are you hearing any buzz about it?
Sorry, I haven't heard any buzz. So, there are a lot of seats available for 3/30. I found 2 discounts that offer different savings. The Broadway Box code, which you tried to use, offers a price of $99 on most of the side orchestra and all of the mezzanine seats on that date. Another code, TVGO2, offers a discouted price of $119.60 for the $149 seats, which is not as good as the Broadway Box deal, but it does offer a discounted price of $87.60 for the far side orchestra seating, which is better than the $99 price that Broadway Box offers for the same seats. Hopefully this helps, and, since I've never been there, maybe someone else would be able to give you advice about the seating in this theatre.
I've been there several times at least, but it's been a while. Every show I tell myself to start keeping notes on where I'm sitting and how the view was, and pretty much every time I fail to follow through. Heck, I've only been telling myself that for nearly 20 years....
I just entered the code manually, going to Telecharge first, then be redirected to Roundabout, and the discount showed up by itself (not $99-$149). Usually I have no problem clicking directly from BroadwayBox.com, but there may be a glitch.
Those damn rails look really obnoxious. Maybe I sat in the orchestra at AA in the past, as I don't recall each row being like that.
