Need Ideas for Tap Song that's Not Traditionally a Tap Song

I'm looking for a MT song for my daughter to do a tap dance to but she doesn't want something that you usually think of tap for.  For example, she doesn't want anything from Anything Goes, 42nd Street, TMM, etc.  We both like Nobody from Bandstand but want some other options for her to consider.

When I was in a college dance show, we used "All for the Best" from Godspell for a tap number.

I once tapped to “The Money Song (Sitting Pretty)” from the original Cabaret. It’s not a tap song in the show, but it was a good song to add tap to. It was cut from the film and the revivals, so it’s only on the original album with Joel Grey.

Other than that, Dames at Sea is one of my favorite shows, but I guess that’s a pretty obvious choice for tap.

You know you can tap to anything, right?  Everyone on the planet would prefer she not tap to Forty-Second Street or Dames At Sea so you are on the right track there.

It probably would be innovative if she tapped to something from Hamilton or Let It Go.

You'll Be Back lends itself to a tap number but the other tunes would be more interesting.

I Wanna Be Like You from Disney's THE JUNGLE BOOK.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Maybe a little too out there, but What You Feel from Once More With Feeling? It's a tap number but not a traditional one by any means. It was murder to choreograph when my group did it but I was very proud of the end result.

^ This. Check out Beth J Nicely's PopTap for some inspiration.

I once saw a group tap to the title song from Phantom of the Opera. No joke. There were masks and capes.

The Candy Man from Willy Wonka could be a sensational tap number I think. But yes, just find a song you like and let your feet do the work.
