Currently watching the first episode and I’m officially dead. This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Let’s just say... they nailed it!
And I remember this musical I remember their brilliance And I might never sleep again...

I like the idea, especially since the contestants are very much in on the "joke" of it, but I really disliked the host. Her shtick wore itself out pretty quickly.

Did you know that every day Mexican gays cross our borders and unplug our brain-dead ladies?

Agreed. There's something really off with the production and writing as nobody is as funny or as entertaining as they're trying hard to be. It made me appreciate Food Network's efforts a lot more.

It would likely do better WITH an audience to react to the silliness transpiring.  But the idea is really cute.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I actually agree. After the second episode it kind of got old.

I totally agree about it needing an audience!!

That was how I felt, it needed to have an audience. But I imagine nobody actually wants to be in an audience watching people bake for hours.

I just want that gold chef hat!

The last two episodes are great. It was so nice to everyone having fun, including the home bakers.

"

That was what I was thinking. These types of reality cooking competition shows actually take a really long time to film and the contestants are actually waiting for hours in-between rounds and for judges' deliberations and the actual cooking and presentation to the judges actually takes much longer than these shows portray. Plus baking can take a long time even without reality show filming schedules slowing it down.
