Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 3/11/18 |

It is weather related. If you noticed on social media, even Hamilton had some empty seats that were not obviously reflected in their grosses. I am happy with how Dolly is hanging in there. Their numbers will improve when we head to Spring . They will definitely benefit from TKTS and walk up business.
I wonder how OOTI is going to hold on till the Tony's. I think it's a lovely show but their numbers are consistently awful.

Honestly I'm shocked THE PARISIAN WOMAN finished it's entire run.
Frozen is selling really well.
I know some posters keep referring to Tarzan and Little Mermaid as productions that started off fairly well but eventually dropped off somewhat quickly and closed shortly thereafter. I don't recall exactly, but did Tarzan and LIttle Mermaid start this strong in previews? Maybe Mermaid, but it seems like Tarzan never really sold particularly well... even in previews. But I could be wrong....

I hate seeing "it's" instead of its, but I know that it's (HA) autocorrect. I can't stand it when it happens to me and it has.
Neither Tarzan nor The Little Mermaid had anything near Frozen's early #'s in previews. Even with tepid or average reviews, this thing will be a near sellout once the Disney marketing machine is in full gear.

Okay Angels In America!!! Hope it can continue with those numbers
I see A BRONX TALE's "bridge and tunnel" crowd is starting to wind down a bit...
MARGARITAVILLE is drowning...that Gross Potential is sad for a new musical

Even though its wage bill is high, it only has 8 actors and no orchestra, once reviews come in, it should pick up a bit.

there are much more then 8 actors in this production, (angel shadows)...but now thinking about it, the gross percentage was eh, but given that they did 7 performances in a pretty big theatre I'd say they had a nice week
Please forgive me if this is a dumb question, but when reading the Angels gross, is that based on ticket sales for people who buy both parts (Millennium Approaches and Perestroika, which I understand are staged with separate tickets), or does it also include those who snag a ticket only for one part?

The lengths to which you will go...
I can't die happy until I'm licking the dirt directly off the bottom of Bernadette's shoes.

The Angels gross includes all performances, all sold tickets.

I doi not think its going to get negative reviews tbh. With #frozenforthetony by people . I think critics will do a 'wicked' with this one. https://twitter.com/BazBam?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor
