Yes, he came in for the 30th celebration but it was always to be a very limited run.

A quick Google search for videos suggests that his voice is strongest in the lower range, which I very much like for the Phantom because that sort usually sounds great at "Let your soul take you where you long to BEEEEE". However, the real test for this role is whether he can handle that last note in "Music of the Night".

This performance of "Stars" from Les Miserables is very encouraging, with the caveat that he might struggle with that last note in "Music of the Night" like Norm Lewis did.

The audio isn't amazing in this video, but I'm getting John Owen-Jones vibes from his voice. Hoping he falls in the same vein, JOJ is one of my favorites

Will be interesting to see him in the role, very curious to hear his MOTN as well
