How will this possibly work on tour? lol. It won't be the same show, that's for sure.

I imagine they will do to ONCE ON THIS ISLAND what they did to FUN HOME only in reverse.  FUN HOME started on a conventional proscenium stage, and they restaged it in the round for the Circle in the Square (then went back to the proscenium staging for the national tour).  Shouldn't be that hard to do with OOTI.

I truly adored OOTI and hope I'm wrong, but I imagine we'll be seeing this in same season as Ken Davenport's Spring Awakening tour.

According to Center Theater Group's Facebook page, they've "confirmed" it for their 2019/2020 season.

Would this plan the Mark Taper Forum...? Maybe they'd consider doing a smaller-scale tour? This would be swallowed whole at the Ahmanson.

What show doesn't announce a tour just before Tony voters start figuring things out.

I just found the lost again, and it says it's going to be at the Ahmason.
