I don't know if Lincoln Center ever puts out discount codes for the big classic musicals like MY FAIR LADY, SOUTH PACIFIC, THE KING AND I, etc. I've never seen one, although maybe late in the runs, when demand dies down a bit, they could. However, if you go and try to buy tickets to MY FAIR LADY, you will notice that for at least the first few months, it is very solidly sold.
Thanks everyone. There was a discount code for "South Pacific" when it first started previews. Then after all the great reviews and buzz, it was pulled.
Lincoln Center doesn't do discount codes unless a show is in trouble. My Fair Lady is selling so well, I couldn't even get good seats until the end of July. Don't count on it.
How long does it normally take them to sell a new block of tickets? I’ll be in NYC the weekend after the last show currently available and was just curious when the next tickets might go on sale.
I'm trying to get tickets to My Fair Lady during the Benanti/Burstein overlap in February, and I tried the Theatermania discount code, but there must be blackout dates because Telecharge Offers says there are no discounted tickets available on the dates I selected. Anyone have any luck with discounted tickets during Jan/Feb? Thanks!
Just checking Telecharge, there are hundreds of seats available, mostly in the side orchestra sections, for the last three Sunday matinees in May. They are going to have to discount them to sell them in May and through the rest of the summer.
