Not a big fan of the pants but everything else seems accurate

I saw it in Denver without the big construction of an ice palace (there are ice shards coming out of the floor in Act Two in Monster). and the song worked very well as the Act One closer.  It did not fall flat  - it did not die.  Caissie Levy sang the *#*&(@ out of the song - the audience was left buzzing and chattering - and there was great applause.  No one around me or that I overheard during the intermission felt cheated.  Sure, a big scenery moment would be great - I might even prefer it - but, not having it was not detrimental to the show - in my opinion.   

There is a  "wow" moment.

I’m sure the Mouse is quaking in his boots over the fact that some people on a message board are whining about there not being a precious ice castle. Clearly the show is ruined, a disaster, destined to fail.

While there may be no ice castle. Im sure Let it go will stoll blow the roof off of the theatre. They are probally saving the big affect for later in the show.

I'm not responding to say "add the castle", I'm responding to say, then who was this so called inside source that someone one posted about saying "The castle is in"...what was the point of that then? Or was someone just straight up lying or misinformed?

I watched a Curtain call video on instagram from the invited dress. Made me super emotional. It was disney magic buying a ticket now!

Oh my god I totally agree with you! Caissie Levy singing Let It Go was the wow moment for me! I had never heard of her before Frozen and am now a total fan. She is amazing! She could stand there in a paper bag without a single snowflake and blow the song away haha!

I LOVE the pants!! She'll rock the sparkly dress at the end of act 1, then belt her way through Monster in pants and a glitter cape. It's going to be RAD you guys! Just get over the ice castle and go see it hahaha! Remember, it's supposed to be fun, not completely change our lives   I saw it four fricking times in Denver and am flying to NYC to see it twice in May. Just go.

And also, can anyone tell me who to look at on Instagram to see these photos and stories everyone is talking about? I'm clearly not following the right people. I'm so excited hahahaha!

Haha it's in my car right now lol! LOVE IT! I literally bought every cast album she's on plus her solo album after I saw Frozen hahahaha! I'm fan girling really hard out here lol! Maybe it's because we only ever get the touring casts here (although they have to be really good too), but I've never heard anyone as good as her in a musical. I mean I'm into Frozen for sure, but honestly for me I'm paying to see her perform.

I think you have to be on mobile to view the stories. The good tweets, instagram posts etc. motivated me to get a ticket. I did love the film and do love Disney, so will give it a shot.

I too think Frozen is a tad overrated and was expecting them to improve with the Broadway show (for me it's the exact same case with The Lion King). Apparently, they were glad to just deliver the movie with a couple more songs and no actual development (differently from The Lion King, which actually delivered)

I liked it more than the movie :)
