Hangmen Cancellation Line #1

Hi all. Looking to do the cancellation line for the Atlantic's Hangmen. Their website states that it 'begins' two hours prior to showtime. Has anyone done it for this show/for the Linda Gross in general? Should I get there earlier than two hours before? Thanks!

Not sure about now, but I did it for the first preview. I arrived at 6pm and there was no one. I left for about an hour and came back at 7:20 something. Still no one. I went in and asked the box office if there's any returned ticket. She told me no, then said she could actually sell me one ticket in the last row.

Thank you! Do you all think it'll be harder to get Cancellation tickets now that it's open/officially sold out?

What I hear about other hot shows is that "cancellation" seats are mostly unused house seats. But considering how buzzy the show has been, there's probably more folks using those house seats. Whether ATC does this, I couldn't tell you. But during early previews, it looked like they were releasing tickets online as they were "cancelled." Now they're probably anticipating more people will join the cancellation line, so they may hold the tickets for the line rather than releasing them on the site. If you do try it, I'm interested to know how it goes!

I haven't seen Hangmen, but I have never seen anyone standing in the Linda Gross theater. Are you sure they sell standing room?

I've seen folks standing and sitting on the stairs on the sides of the theater during shows.  Not sure if they were staff/ushers or patrons who wanted to be closer or if they were actually sold, though.

I was there a few weeks ago on a Saturday for the matinee, and there were only 3 people in the cancellation line as of 1:45. All 3 got in, as there were folks selling extra tix that they had. I suggest you give the line a try.

I tried the Hangmen cancellation line last week and they were able to get me in no problem! There were 7 of us in total and we all got in. They told us they had some standing room tickets available for around $75 I think, but they were able to get us actual seats in the end. Definitely worth the wait, the show was amazing!
