"It does what a musical is supposed to do; it takes you to another world. And it gives you a little tune to carry in your head. Something to take you away from the dreary horrors of the real world. A little something for when you're feeling blue. You know?"
I just wanted to bump up this thread to say that single, regular-price tickets for the Atlantic Theater production are now on sale. A large portion of the seats in the center are premium ($100), with regular price ($80) in the front and in the last row.
Back25 seats go on sale June 15.
I usually do Back25 at this theater and have always enjoyed the seats. But I decided to pay full price for this after I missed out on Hangmen by answering an ill-timed phone call from work that prevented me from buying the tickets as soon as they went on sale.
This sounds like what Summer should have been. I don't want to speak too soon -- Disco and theater have an awful track record together, save Here Lies Love.
Me too! I can't resist $25 tickets. Thanks for the reminder. I hope the show is good! I was so excited for David Byrne's Joan of Arc at the Public, and then I saw it....

I have two tickets to the matinee on Saturday, July 21. Row C, on the aisle. Paid $169 total. So if anyone wants them, let me know... too far away for discounts and selling pretty well. All tickets are will call, so I will switch them to your name.
