Kudos to Peters on her first full week of shows. Hopefully she can keep up these types of numbers, or at least hover around the $1 million mark.
OOTI seems to be doing well, 76% gross potential, over 100% capacity.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Who is going to "A Bronx Tale" that it continues to flourish week in and week out?
I haven't seen it, and I have nothing against it... I just have no idea how it continues to do this well? The movie itself was barely profitable (it made $17 million at the box office when it was released). I know that Waitress is from a lesser-known film, but comparisons are tough because Waitress started with the Bareilles factor, had great reviews and Tony nominations. Bronx Tale had mixed to good reviews, but no Tony nom's and nothing else that really stood out - and yet it continues to succeed.
Good for it... I'm just scratching my head every week as I see the numbers...

That is peculiar. I wonder if the producers just didn’t send the info out in enough time??

Congratulations Bernadette for what I believe is (only just) the highest grossing numbers for a single week in your Broadway career! This week is looking good too - they’ve almost already sold out the entire weekend (Friday to Sunday). Decent availability for the earlier performances.
Look at the old girl now, fellas!
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
"Oh look at the time, three more intelligent plays just closed and THE ADDAMS FAMILY made another million dollars" -Jackie Hoffman, Broadway.com Audience Awards
