Restaurants near NY City Center

Can you guys recommend some decent restaurants within 3-4 blocks of City Center? usually, I'm able to do this fairly easily on-line but am struggling in this case. There are one or two I've been to near there that seem to have closed fairly recently.

I have always enjoyed Old Castle Pub on 54th before a show there. It’s nothing grand, but the food is solid and definitely a level above pub fare.

Thanks. The menu looks fine and they take reservations which was a must.

You’re welcome! It’s also nice that you can use the passage next to the London hotel across the street to put you right there at NYCC. Again, while the menu looks ok, the execution is much better than one would expect!

Our favorite is La Bonne Soupe a block east on 55th. Great french food. Reasonable.

Souvlaki GR is another Greek option. Cheaper & more casual than Molyvos.
