I couldn't find a thread on this one for the upcoming film, Lin Manuel Miranda is providing new music from a script written by Jane Goldman, it's set to have all the musical numbers from the original animated feature by Alan Mencken who will work as composer too. 

Rumour mill: Mackenzie Mauzy in talks.

huh i hadn’t heard that Rob Marshall would be directing this, i’m cautious but optimistic.
