Oh, how sad! I'm seeing Bernadette as Dolly in a few weeks and was so excited to see Beanie again. She was absolutely hysterical as Minnie Fay. Happy trails to her!

I think it has been mentioned.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

With the success of the award winning film LADY BIRD, I'm sure opportunities are flowing in like a waterfall.  I wouldn't be surprised if she originally extended her contract in HELLO, DOLLY! then retracted that extension after LADY BIRD was released and generated the enormous attention it continues to have, etc.

While Beanie had a great year professionally, she also just suffered the loss of her brother. She probably needs a break now.

Even if he offers are not flooding in like waterfall, she certainly is going to want to be available to participate in the awards festivities for her movie. The SAG awards and the Oscars are huge publicity.

Weird because in the article above on Bway World, it notes Bette, David and Taylor are leaving with no mention of Beannie. You would think she would be included.

Regardless, Good luck to all going out and all coming in.

Beanie's Lady Bird costar Timothée Chalamet was being interviewed about Call Me by Your Name last month. At least I think it was about that movie. The conversation turned to Lady Bird. The reporter asked to me if he had seen Beanie in Hello Dolly! He has said no but that she was leaving the show. At the time I thought that was odd because it had not been announced she was leaving. But she obviously told him some time ago which means it has been planned for a while. I wonder why they did not announce her with the other three leaving if that was the case?
