Funny? Worth seeing? They have 10pm shows this Friday and Saturday when I'll be in town. So I figured I could catch a One Act (like Meteor Shower) at 8pm, then catch a late performance afterward. Also, is it worth springing for stage-side seats or is there a recommended way to get decent tickets? Any input appreciated :)

I really enjoyed this when I saw it with my friends. It's really silly and different than anything else if you've never seen it before. If I recall correctly, the actor for Banquo is always chosen randomly for that performance (not sure if this has changed), and he/she proceeds to get smashed.

There's usually Livingsocial or Groupon deals. You can use the money you save to buy a couple drinks! I'm not really an alcohol drinker but it definitely felt more fun and in theme to partake. :) We did the cheapest ticket (balcony) but they moved everyone to mezzanine/stage-side since the crowd was smaller that night. But either way it's a super intimate space.

You can also check out clips on YouTube (photos & filming allowed) but they're kind of weird out of context lol.

My fiancee and I won tickets through a fundraiser that happened to be stage-side, and loved it. No idea if stageside vs "balcony" is worth it since I've only seen it once, but it's incredibly fun, and a really great evening. When we saw it, the actor playing Macbeth was the one to get drunk, and if they weren't just going by a script to make us laugh more, he had also been the one to get drunk at the matinee.

Definitely check out groupon or something like that just to get cheaper seats, but it's worth seeing for sure!
