Anyone planning on watching? Incredibly excited to see this season - loved the OJ one. I’m not a fashion person, persay, but I’m ready to worship Penelope Cruz and Edgar Ramirez.
I usually can’t stand Ryan Murphy, so I was shocked that I enjoyed this so much. The mystery of Andrew Cunanan has plagued my mind the last few weeks. Penelope is outstanding as Donatella. I already ordered the book this series is based on, I’ve become so obsessed with this story.
I know I’m quite late to the game, but did anyone else watch?
It didn’t seem to light up the world like so many other Murphy projects— even Pose receives more press and discussion. That said, I’ve only heard good things from those who have watched the show. I better get on it before it’s inevitably removed from Netflix and I need a Hulu subscription to watch it instead.
The story should have been fascinating, but I had to turn away from the series after episode 2 or 3. I just couldn’t take the depiction of relentless Sadism there. Yes, that’s what Cunanan was and did, but the scenes of violence were simply unwatchable.
Apart from Feud it's the only good series Murphy has ever done.
Criss was phenomenal and gave one of the best portrayals of a psychopath ever. The way he could change moods in the blink of an eye was just chilling to watch.
I agree with Someone in a Tree though, it is just such a horrendous story. In a way Versace got off easy compared to the rest of his victims. What an absolutely disgrace to the human race Cunanan was.
