Someone snuck into the National theatre |
This was/is a really stupid idea. They were up on the catwalk which may or may not have been able to hold their weight and they could have done serious damage to the lighting grip and overhead scenery which could have cause much more damage tot he performers during the show. I’m sure they didn’t think of the consequences of their actions should be made an example of. They are also just encouraging their “fan” base to do the same stupid stuff.

Jorge, I'm genuinely concerned that this is something you aspire to do.
Really Jorge? You thought that was cool? All I saw was a couple of brain dead, millennial twits who feel they are entitled to do whatever they want, wherever they want. All I can hope is that The National Theatre will press charges and put these morons behind bars where they should be. I watched a couple of their videos afterwards and was shocked at how truly stupid and arrogant some people are. It's only a matter of time before one or all are dead and as mean as it sounds, it won't be much of a loss.

Well that was your first mistake.
This is so stupid, especially after that guy fell off that building in China a few weeks ago. Won't these people get caught and arrested for trespassing?
Watching that felt like a dangerous, weird, and unnecessary fever dream.
Super disappointed in your support of this video, Jorge. Not only is this unsafe, but it is also so very disrespectful - not to mention illegal. You used to strike me as someone who, at the very least, had respect for the theatre, as a place and an institute. Obviously I was wrong about that. I hope this catches up with the person who made this video, and I hope they get in a lot of trouble for it.
Jordan, what gives you that impression?
Two twits with a camera---break into a prison next and stay there--Idiots !

Wait....EVERYONE agrees on the stupidity of the video but WE'RE the ones that should relax? By all means let's encourage MORE illegal and unsafe behavior.

"This was a really cool video!" = encouragement
"I loved getting some behind the scenes footage" = encouragement
"If only I had the courage to do something like this, lol" = encouragement

Sharing it IS encouraging the behavior. Period.
and next time: use your Joke Font so we know.

You are the worst of them all.

Omg omg omg. You are so petty. I’m not even going to begin to defend myself here, because it’s just so silly. You should learn to catch a break once in a while and relax. Lol. You need to take a chill pill, before you criticize a post, that should be taken more or less as a joke.
Please don't get these old fogies on here stirred up again. They're likely to put out an eye with their knitting needle!

Yeah riggers and stagehands. AKA people that are trained to do it. People that know what to touch and what not to touch. Not random people that have broken in from off the street that don't know anything about the equipment they are playing with that is not theirs to play with. What would have happened if they messed with something and it was not re-adjusted before the show? What if they had torn one of the costumes they tried on? (NOTE: I have not watched the video as I refuse to give them the money they would earn from the ads that would play while I watch but I have read a description of the things they did). The point is that they were in a place they shouldn’t have been and they should 1.) be held accountable by law local law enforcement for trespassing and 2.) not be allowed to make money off breaking the law because that is exactly what they are doing right now with monetized videos on YT. Every time someone watches that video, it's money in the bank for them.

Wow, did that come from your last brain cell? If I was a performer I'd be terrified of an accident or malfunction caused by these geniuses touching things they shouldn't have. Scary and unsafe doings.
