Oy a bruch!
eeehhhh.....
I too am wondering about Meryl. No idea how she fits in. All the dialogue in the trailer does make it seem like she's dead. But, who knows? Interesting that all the music in the trailer is from the original show/movie. None of the new songs featured...weird.
BUT, that cameo of Cher in the trailer is DIVINE!
tbh who really cares if they reuse songs, they’re still great songs
They say "Is the bravest person" not "was the bravest" so I don't think she's dead. My guess is Sophie doesn't know how to tell her mother she's pregnant blah blah blah I don't care I can't wait.

Search "Mamma Mia 2" on Twitter, and you should be able to find a working one.
When a straight-to-DVD film gets shown theatrically.
This looks like one big mess. Like those sequels to all those Disney films.
What's next? The MAMMA MIA! Big Fat Greek Summer?

Two for the price of one, my friend.
Just rewatched the trailer and it’s obvious that Donna is dead in the movie. Sad!
Well, Meryl was filming on location so she is still part of this sequel and not via stock footage from the original film.
Well obviously, there's new footage of her in this trailer, but it's pretty clear those are in flashback and fantasy sequences.

Possibly. I thought maybe Pitch Perfect 3, since it and this are both Universal films.

Hopefully BroadwayWorld will take down this article which links to unofficial content (in this case a bootleg video): https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/STAGE-TUBE-Suddenly-Seymour-Ellen-Greene-and-Jake-Gyllenhaal-Perform-LITTLE-SHOP-OF-HORRORS-Duet-at-ENCORES-20150830

Dr. Jennifer Rinaldi will live on forever. Someone get her a Tony.
Two for the price of one, my friend.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought of this:
My excitement for this film grows exponentially each day. If I'm even a fraction as annoying as the rabid fans of various shows I've put up with over the years (Hairspray, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Wicked, Brooklyn, Spring Awakening, Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Follies, Gypsy, anything Sondheim, etc.), then just consider this MY TURN. I've been a massive ABBA fan fear nearly 40 years now and I will relish this the way I did seeing the original London cast of Mamma Mia shortly after it opened on my first trip to the UK.
