Dear Evan Hansen - When will Taylor Trensch's first show be?

I just purchased tickets for DEH on 1/30. I'm wondering if I will see Noah or Taylor. I'm seeing multiple days on when each will start/end. 

Does anyone know when Taylor will start?

Pretty sure 1/30 will be Taylor’s first show. Galvin said in a recent interview he’s Evan through Sunday 1/28, so unless they have understudies going on in the interim, Taylor should be in starting that Tuesday night.

I heard something about a February start but I'm not sure. 

Who do you think is better Noah or Taylor?

I'll be upset if I bought tickets for 1/30 looking to see Taylor and then I won't even see Noah or Taylor

If you buy tickets for 1/30, and, for some reason, that's not Taylor's first night (but it probably will be), Telecharge will most likely let you do an exchange for another date. I'm assuming there will be an official announcement soon. Both Telecharge and the DEH website still say "mid-January" for Taylor's start, so 1/30 is a safe bet.

According to this article it says Noah will be there until 2/4/18.

Well, the announcement always said January, so i wouldn't trust that story. Noah himself said the 28th, so that's a pretty good source. If you don't trust Noah on when he is leaving, not sure what to tell you.

Has anyone here seen Michael Lee Brown or Ben Ross as Evan?  Not sure if I want to see Noah or perhaps one of the understudies that go on Wednesday and Saturday matinees?

Ben hasn’t gone on as Evan, so no reports for that. I’ve heard mostly good things about both Noah and Michael so you’ll be good with either.

If you're still deciding, I've seen both MLB and Noah.  I recommend seeing it with MLB :)

Per the DEH site it states Taylor will assume the role mid-January but Taylor is in Dolly till 1/14.

Yes. A new Barnaby is already slated to start on 1/20 with Bernadette.

New Dolly (Bernadette), new Horace (Victor Garber), new Barnaby (Charlie Stemp). Every other featured role is continuing with Bernadette, although I don't believe they indicated for how long...

Timothée Chalamet said in an interview that beanie wasn’t going to be Hello, Dolly soon. I don’t know if that means she’s leaving at the same time as Bette or at the one year mark, though.

They were unclear how long everyone else was staying, but Beanie is supposedly staying into the Bernadette reign for some amount of time. Will be curious if they stagger their departures or all leave in a pack.
