Or shows that are close to recouping?

I will accept shows that opened in the fall 2016.

I imagine Come From Away has recouped, by looking at their eye popping grosses and it’s  so cheap to run, that when it’s donee on Broadway, it could easily reopen at New World Stages, But has it announced it has recouped?

Think Hello Dolly must have for the same reasons above, however that won’t be going to the New World Stages lol.

I have heard from some investors that Hello Dolly has NOT recouped. I know that sounds absurd. Can anyone confirm with certainty whether it has?

It hasn't probably because it's an expensive show to run with a spare-no-expense production.

I wonder if those Donna weeks affected the recoupment time table. Do we know how much the initial cost of the production was?

If a star, like Bette gets, "a piece of the box office" written into their contract does that usually mean a percentage of seat-revenue taken in or a percentage of the gross profits that week?

I’m surprised that Hello Dolly hasn’t recouped, given its extraordinary grosses, there is a no more savvy producer than Scott Rudin at keeping costs low. I know the package to have Ms Bette Miller in the show maybe $200k - $300k a week, but this is what an ordinary show may spend on advertising, which thanks to Ms Midler, Scott Rudin didn’t have to spend.
