Once on This Island SRO

Was wondering if OOTI sells SRO even if the show is not sold out. Should I show up before or after the lottery? Any input would be much appreciated, thank you!

I was at the matinee on December 2.  I arrived a few minutes in advance of the 11:30 lottery, and thought I'd check what was available at the box office.  As the very helpful box office person was looking at her computer, she told me that the standing room seats had just become available. I bought the first three, and left with my tickets before the lottery had begun. Not sure if this is how it works all the time, but my sons and I were very happy.

Frankly, standing room is a great way to see this show, perhaps even preferable to many of the seats.
