I was between Ben and Bette, but voted for Bette. When you look back on Broadway history, those were easily the two biggest names of this year, but I think Bette inches out.
(The only reason I didn't vote for Katrina was because I think 2018 will be "her" year )
Who said he was the "Toast of the Tony Awards"?!?! "Welcoming his replacements"? "Announcing his debut album"? "Ultimate wish"? I don't have anything against him, but this is creepy fangurl overkill. This is just embarrassing.

For me it came down to Ben or Katrina, and I ended up voting for Katrina simply because Ben has already achieved so much acclaim. (And it's completely justified in my opinion.) But I do agree with the poster who said that 2018 will probably be Katrina's year.
