Help pick my shows in January#1

Hi all,
I will be heading to NYC from January 2-11 for a Broadway trip and I am looking for feedback on what shows to see. Right now I have tickets to see Hello Dolly (Midler), Farinelli and the King, Meteor Shower, and Dear Evan Hansen. Some of the shows I was considering would be Anastasia, Book of Mormon, Kinky Boots, Once on this Island, The Band's Visit, Wicked, Come From Away, Hello Dolly (Murphy), Hamilton (cancelation line), Lion King, Miss Saigon, Sweeney Todd, SpongeBob, M. Butterfly, and Waitress. I have about 9 slots to fill and I was wondering what you all would recommend?

Thanks!

Definitely Once on This Island, Anastasia, Miss Saigon and Kinky Boots. Obviously Hamilton if you can get tickets! MIss Saigon is closing so definitely see it.

As discussed here ad nauseum, The Band's Visit is not for everyone, but if you go in understanding that it's not a big flashy musical but one with an incredible amount of soul, I think you should add it to your fantastic list. It's likely to win the Best Musical Tony, and if you don't see it you might end up regretting it.

What an awesome trip you have planned so far!

Don't miss The Band's Visit or Come from Away.

I'd also highly recommend Miss Saigon if you're going to a performance when Eva is on. She is extraordinary.

I would pick Once On This Island, The Band's Visit, Come From Away, and Book of Mormon. (Have you never seen Lion King?? Then that too.) Have fun!

I'd add School o Rock to the list and make sure you get to see Kinky Boots.

Highly recommend seeing Sweeney Todd. Immersive, beautiful, and the cast is great. Carolee Carmello is a brilliant Mrs. Lovett. Also The Book of Mormon and The Lion King are classics that you'll want to see if you haven't yet.

Would recommend highly the story of what friendship is: Wicked, the musical. It is the best narrative to date on what being a friend is.

I am currently trying to become a travel and performing PR professional. I am enthralled with the Broadway theatre (think its the thinking person's medium) and my favorite performer of all time is the wonderful and amazing Sally Murphy. I hope we can get to know each other via BroadwayWorld.com. Again, I would love to join the Broadway community and start writing about it.
