This only came out today and I’ve already finished. It was probably my favorite season. I could not stop watching and every episode was just even more intense. My favorite episode was probably Crocodile.

Blaxx where did you get up to in the episode? It doesn’t get any better than that episode, which is not only the best in the season but possibly the best in the whole series. Just remarkable. I was on the edge of my seat when things started unraveling. It has not gone unnoticed - with much commentary on the internet about it and indeed an article suggesting the episode could get its own spin-off series.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

I was 25 mins in. I'll try the rest tonight.

I honestly the first episode was the weakest of this season. I liked it, but it just didn’t seem too original for me.

I think it's their weakest season so far, except for maybe the first. The first episode was great and Crocodile was compelling, but this season lacked in variety. All of the technology seemed very similar and very similar to technology we've seen before on the show. It just should have been more creative.
Anyone watch that Bendersnatch special? I liked the idea of the choose your own adventure, but Im not sure if they succeeded.
