I have always been on the fence about Kinky Boots. However I am in for a few days, and when I went to TKTS I was going to get M Butterfly as a friend said she had some friends who really liked it. But they told me they weren't sure Clive Owen would be in it. I asked if they knew if Billy Porter would be in KB. They said he was supposed to be and they had dead center orchestra available row e. I still wasn't sure what to expect, but enjoyed every minute of the show. Billy Porter is an amazing actor.

I personally love Kinky Boots. It's a great story with great themes and I also love the score and the staging of it all.

I saw the tryout in Chicago and thought it was okay, but nothing exceptional. I was shocked at how many Tonys it won, especially for Musical, Score and Choreography.
