Sweeney Todd for the longest time, but after seeing Merrily We Roll Along, I think it's now surpassed it.

Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, and Sunday in the Park with George.
It's impossible to choose just one.
Also, I would like to add that Passion is definitely among my favorites of his, but I seldom say so in order to avoid judgemental looks. I get that some find it creepy and weird, while I find it a beautiful melodrama that explores the complexities of love through an absolutely gorgeous and melodic score. Also, Donna Murphy's performance remains one of my favorite performances of all time.

Company, without question. It's an utter masterpiece.
Followed very, very closely by Sunday in the Park with George.

My favorite is "Pacific Overtures," although "Sunday in the Park With George" gives it a run for its money. And "Sweeney Todd" is the most perfect score in the history of Broadway. F*CK, it's hard to choose just one.

Merrily comes in 2nd
I’ve never seen Assasins but I love the music so I’m sure that could win me over but Sunday In The Park With George will always be my fave. I cannot stop listening to the 2017 cast album.

Sunday in the Park with George. While Sweeney in my opinion is his best marriage of music and book, followed closely by A Little Night Music, Merrily's score is one great song after another with no weak link, and Assassins is just so daring, the originality, reach, insight, beauty, longing and compassion that Sunday achieves will always make it my favorite musical, not just Sondheim musical.

Follies is still my favorite, however, I became obsessed with Merrily We Roll Along after the production in Boston last month. I’ve found that people’s perceptions of Sondheim’s musicals change with their age. They touch upon something from our life experiences that gives us different insight.
