The first national tour cast was announced almost exactly two months before it began performances in San Francisco. With the second national tour beginning performances in Seattle on February 6, 2018, I'd look out for a cast announcement toward the very end of this month: probably right after Thanksgiving (or maybe right before).
Any guesses who will be in it? I’m hoping Samantha Marie Ware is Eliza.

I have to disagree about Samantha Ware. If she is Eliza I hope that they make her cut down on her vocal acrobatics. It doesn’t suit the character, and she seems to enjoy vocal embellishments.
I hope Julia K. Harriman is promoted to lead on this tour. She’s brilliant. Would love to see her as Angelica, even Eliza. I hope that if she is promoted she doesn’t fall into the standby becomes lead Peggy /Maria the way that Alysha and Aubin did.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Elizabeth Judd was in this as well. Though they seem quite partial to her in the broadway company so they may want to keep her there. Hopefully she is promoted as well and to a role bigger than Peggy/Maria
Samantha as Eliza would not surprise me at all, the way things have been going. I also hope Elizabeth Judd gets promoted, either in the NYC company or a tour, I'm dying to see her. I am mostly hoping for really talented unknowns though!
Being that Judd just began a new contract as the Broadway standby do you think they'd let her go? It's a valuable track, and we don't know if she would even want to leave NYC for the road.
