Ryan Murphy and David Stone will present the Broadway debut of Mart Crowley's groundbreaking comic drama, The Boys in the Band, for a strictly limited 15-week Broadway engagement at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street), April 30 - August 12, 2018. This 50th Anniversary production will be directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello.

THE BOYS IN THE BAND will star Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomerand Andrew Rannells, as well as ROBIN de JESÚS, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington and Tuc Watkins. The role of "Cowboy" remains to be cast.

Ticketing information and complete design team will be announced in the coming weeks.

So now we have three productions on Broadway this spring with "Band" in the title: Band's Visit, Getting the Band Back Together and Boys in the Band. Can't imagine any tourists will be confused??!!

BWW didn't run that part of the release?!

From Playbill: "Parsons (The Normal Heart), Quinto (American Horror Story), Rannells (The New Normal), and Bomer (The Normal Heart, AHS) will take on the roles of Michael, Harold, Larry, and Donald, respectively, on stage.

The cast will also include Tony nominee Robin De Jesús as Emory, Brian Hutchison as Alan, Michael Benjamin Washington as Bernard, and Tuc Watkins as Hank. The role of Cowboy remains to be cast."
