Hello! As Meteor Shower Previews start tonight I wanted to see if anyone rushed this morning. Really excited to see this but the cheapest ticket was still out of my price range. Thanks!

For future reference I stopped at the box office. All 8 rush seats were gone a few minutes after b.o. opened. Rush location is solely boxes. A total of 12 box rush seats @ $40 will soon be available when they clear away equipment.

They will sell standing room—price not yet established—after opening if shows are totally sold out.

Thanks for the update! I would definitely try standing room once/if they have it.

Do the rush tickets have a "partial view" either printed or ink-stamped on them?

Hello!  I rushed this morning.  I got there at 7:20am and was first in line.  The 2nd person came around 7:30.  3rd came a little before 9am.

By 9:30 there were about 9 people in line.

I got 2 tickets.  Location is in the boxes.  The box office woman said the view is a little obstructed and wrote "PV" on the back of the ticket.

Will report back and let you know how the view was.

Would standing room be a reasonable option in this theatre for someone short? Only asking because it’s been a problem for me in the past and my tiptoes don’t want to experience that again.

Oh god I am so worried this is gonna be a crazy one where I'll have to get to the theater at 3am...

People seem to think that Amy Schumer's main fanbase is because of Trainwreck, but I think it's more from the comedy world -- she has made a serious name for herself doing standup, and sketch writing. Comedy fans will do anything for a cheap ticket, especially to such a big name.

FWIW, last night the people in the rear boxes seemed to be stretching their necks quite a bit. The people in the front box seemed fined.

I am 5'2" and stood in this theater for ELEPHANT MAN. I was actually the perfect height to rest my chin on the wall in front of me and lean a little bit, so it wasn't bad. I've definitely had worse standing room experiences.

I sat in the box seats last night.  The view is definitely obstructed.  We were seated in the right box.  There was 6 of us up there and we were in the 3rd and 4th seats.  It took me a little bit to get used to the view as you do miss anything happening on the far right, it does requiring some leaning.  Seems like as the show went on more things were staged to the center or the left so it did get better.  For $40, I guess it's a good deal, however I think the standing room tickets would be much better.  The show is only 80min.

The left box was mostly taken up with production equipment, but there was 1 person siting up there.  Not sure if he was with production.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is gonna be a rough one for rush. I'm already seeing line-sitting services advertise that they'll sit for Meteor Shower. I'm planning on getting there very early when I go.

Also, to the point about the comedy community - that seems about right. Schumer, Key, and Martin are all draws. A lot like how last year comedy buffs came out to see Oh, Hello. I myself am a bigger comedy fan than theater even. Not a Schumer fan (which is why I didn't pay full price for tickets) but I really want to see Keegan-Michael Key. And Laura Benanti of course. It's a nice mix of fans, but will likely make for a rush line nightmare.

What time did you get to the line, and how many people were there already? I think I'm going to aim for standing room once it opens, but I'm curious how the rush line is playing out this early on.

The same person said in an earlier post that they were first at 7:20am.

Rushed this morning! I figured I'd go before the weather gets too bad.

Got there at 6:45 and was 5th in line. The first guy in line got there at 6:15. By 8:30 there were around 15 people. Looked like 30-40 people by 10:00. Yikes. Was banking on matinee and ended up getting it - right box.

This was the first two show day, and first weekend, which might be why the line was longer. But if this is any indication of what the line will be like for the entirety of the run, it's as we predicted: you're going to have a very early morning if you want to get rush/standing room. Especially considering that those who have attended previews seem to be loving it.

Side note: their system was having issues so we weren't let in until around 10:20. A woman passed by and said the same thing happened yesterday, so bear that in mind.

Today, I walked into the box office at approx 1:30pm. I opted for a standing room spot at $47.

Center and great view for this show. The overhang did not even cover the top of the set. Full view.

I really want to try this on Monday, but looking at TeleCharge there seems to be quite a bit of tickets still left for sale, so probably no standing room? I don't think I want to do the boxes.

Yeah unless you're the first person in line and get the first seat in the box, you're probably going to miss quite a bit off the side like people have mentioned. I sat in the first seat in the right box and missed a tiny bit of unimportant action stage left but otherwise it's a great view. I'm guessing that box is better than left because there's some funny business that happens stage right that you'll want to see. Also the left box currently has the tech booth behind it. The Booth is pretty tiny so it sounds like standing room for $7 more isn't a bad deal.

So now standing room for a non-musical costs more than a seated, albeit rush, ticket? What in the world...?

After sitting in the box seats for this show I can say that I would have much rather paid the extra money to stand in the back of the orchestra.  It's for sure a better view and standing for 80min isn't bad.

Does anyone have a recent recommendation for getting in line for Standing Room tickets (other than the 1:30 posted). I am planning on going on a Saturday when the show is sold out.

Does anyone know if you can get the standing room tickets instead of the box seats? I always go really early when I rush but I'd much rather stand than be in a box seat. There's just no way I was paying $169 bucks for an 80 minute show so I'll gladly sit outside and wait a few hours for this one.
