Tickets to the Lincoln Center revival of My Fair Lady go on sale to the general public and Linctix members next Sunday, October 29! I thought I'd start a thread to discuss seat locations, dates, and questions for ordering those Linctix!

This will be my first time purchasing Linctix (and first show at the Beaumont). I know the location is usually on the extreme sides in the first rows of the orchestra and loge. Are those seats recommended? MFL is one of my top shows for my trip next May, so I'd be willing to pay full price if you guys think it's worth it, but $32 is a steal and would be a much appreciated offset of the money I'm expecting to have to drop on Harry Potter (if I can ever get stinking ticket access, but I digress). Any suggestions or tips on the Linctix process? Thanks!

I can't speak to the specific location of the Linctix, but I've never had a bad seat at Beaumont and I've sat all over. I think it's a good deal for the money.

i had linctix for King and I and  the seats were like in the fourth row on the side but they were absolutely amazing.  It felt like we were on stage with the cast and was a really wonderful experience.  Save your money and get the linctix...I would but have sadly aged out:/

Are LincTix difficult to purchase? My friend and I want to go, but I am unsure if I can purchase two tickets or just one. He's a LincTix member as well.

Linctix members can purchase 1 ticket, but you can link your Linctix account with your friend's to buy two together. I don't remember exactly how to do that, I did it ages ago, but it was pretty simple to do.

I would just go for it, kade.ivy. It's Bartlett Sher so based on his previous productions, he knows how to direct in that house. It's not like you're just going to be staring at people's backs the whole time. I don't know if there's any setpiece in My Fair Lady (like the ship in The King and I) that would give you a reason to sit farther back. The stage is deep and though I've never had a problem seeing, obviously try to get one of the seats on the side that's closer to the center section. And you get to spy on the orchestra. In my experience, LincTix in the Beaumont are almost always in the first few rows of the Orchestra along the far side aisle of the 100s and 500s sections.  I've sat in LincTix seats for War Horse, The King and I and Oslo over the last few years and the view was great every time!

As far as purchasing is concerned, it is very easy to purchase LincTix for multiple members at the same time.  Once you're logged and select the show you want to see, you can add members on the same page where you select the performance date.  You just need the Member ID and phone number for each acount you want to purchase for.  Keep in mind, each member can only purchase one LincTix per production, so you will not be able to purchase tickets for anyone who has already purchased a ticket on their own.

Thanks for the advice, all! I’ll go for the LincTix! The closeness won’t be a problem-if it’s between the big picture and seeing facial expressions, etc., I pick the 9 time’s out of 10.

I’d also like to know an on sale time, ColorfheHours. I might put a call in to Lincoln Center at the end of the week if we can’t find out before then.

Will the box office be selling tickets? I’ll actually be in the city that day and it’s tempting to buy tickets.

I saw "King and I" via LincTix from the Mezz, 2 sections in, front row. So, it was a pretty incredible seat. And I saw "Act One" from the side of the orchestra, and didn't miss anything. I saw "Junk" from the extreme side, and it didn't quite work as the show was directed a little more for a proscenium, but I moved at intermission. I think you'll be fine either way. A musical at the Beaumont is such an epic experience.
