Heading to London and curious to hear thoughts on this show - I had never seen it but figure if Meniere is putting it on it could be a cool opportunity to see a musical that hasn't bet revived
It will be worth seeing for the cast alone. Marcus Brigstock is terrific and will be great as Barnum, I think. And Charity will be played by Laura Pitt Pulford who is simply astonishing in everything she does. (She's the best Petra I have ever seen in A Little Night Music, the best Maria I have ever seen in The Sound Of Music and has also given brilliant performances in lead roles in shows such as Sideshow, Marry Me A Little, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Mack & Mabel, Sunset Boulevard, etc - and was an awesome Lucille in Parade.) I would pay to hear her sing the phone book lol

Saw yesterday's matinee. Spectacularly staged and performed by a superb ensemble cast and hugely enjoyable. Marcus Brigstocke was utterly charming as Barnum, Laura Pitt-Pulford was a wonderful Charity and Harry Francis's solo Tom Thumb number was stunning.
