I was able to get ORCHR Row L Seat 30-30 in April for $407.50. This will be my first Broadway show and trip to New York and I couldn't be more excited!

Thurs. and Friday Nov. 29th and 30th Balcony G Seat 23!

Tickets were $20 for each part and then with the fees came out to be $62.00 flat!

I'll be moving to NYC come August so this is kind of a pre-birthday/moving present :)

I got row h balcony seat 19 and 21 on October 21 for $20 per partI was nervous to release these seats in case I wasn’t able to find more, but I realize this is the last row in the balcony. Has anyone sat in the rear balcony for any previous shows at he lyric? I can’t imsgine the view is any different with the renovation

If it's similar to the London production at the Palace theatre, I'd say that would be slightly partial view (but still a great price for that seat!) As you know with anything Harry Potter there will be magic/flying involved and you may not see parts of that due to the ceiling from mezz/dress circle above you blocking that view.

Do we know what row of the dress circle overhangs on the orchestra? I'm in row T of the orchestra.

Earlier today I got Sunday Oct 21, both parts, OrchLeft row E 25,27 for $199 each part/ticket. Pretty happy with that, though still have a slight tummy-ache from the overall price w/fees, etc. haha

I also got dress circle row M for $40 each part on 6/20. The dress circle has been built forward, correct? If so, I'm assuming the old row H has become the new row M. In any event, I'm thrilled!

I sat there for Spider-Man 1.0 it's high and far away from the stage because this theatre is large. For that price though you really can't go wrong though.

Not sure if you've seen this, but here's the view from H 27, before the renovation. I'm assuming it should be pretty much the same.

Can't wait until March 16, when most of our seating questions will be answered by the hundreds of pics on Instagram!

At 11:00 I was able to log on and got May 26, Saturday. Not happy with the seats Orch J 26-32 for $199 each.  I can't imagine those are not the last 4 seats.  I couldn't figure out who to search for new ones and given the overall issues, I took them.  Since there is longer a 100's section in the orchestra and it previously went up to 30, adding the center could mean the sides go up to 38 or so.  We'll know soon enough.

Got tickets for November 29th and 30th, in row M of dress circle! Very excited to see this, and my whole family is coming which will be very special. Very curious to see the renovations, I saw on the town from orchestra, dress circle, and balcony, and had pretty good views from all the locations.

On Noma Dumezweni's Instagram, she posted a photo with Poppy Miller saying, "i get to b with this beautiful Soul Sister for the next year..." so hopefully they'll still be there!

Oh, I think the original cast will still be there on March 10, I'm just thinking that it could be their last day! It would be almost a year since their first preview, which is typically the time original cast members start to leave. We shall see.... only 13 months away!!

Question for those who’ve seen the show in London...

I love Harry Potter, but some of the super fans can be rather, well, difficult. Do people show up to performances of this play in costume? I know a big part of this fandom is cosplay, and some of these people dress up in highly elaborate attire.

When I saw the show recently there seemed to be a lot of fans wearing Harry Potter merchandise (especially the 'iconic' Harry Potter scarves) but not what I'd describe as cosplay. The audience was also very well behaved - but the show has now been running for a long time. I'd be curious to know what the hysteria of initial audiences are like.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

I believe the dress circle overhangs the orchestra at row T, and the balcony overhangs the dress circle at row B.

That's correct, according to the old seating plan, though. Since 4 rows of seats are being added to the dress circle, I'm assuming this will change.

I'm going to be in the rear of the dress circle, and I hope it's not like being in a cave!

So am I, but I paid only $40 per part, so I can't complain. My understanding is that the dress circle is being extended forward, so the old row H will be the new row M, and so on. There are pics on A View From My Seat from the last 3 rows of the dress circle before the renovation, and the balcony overhang doesn't look terrible.
