hello all...

looking to rush ANASTASIA on Saturday. Has anyone gone yet? I know it's only Wednesday and it just started but figured I might ask -- with only ten tickets, I'm interested to know if only one ticket may be purchased per person and what time the line starts to form.  TIA.

I believe rush is only for Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but I could be wrong.

Rush starts next week. It looks like it will be for every performance.

I plan to try the Rush line on Thursday 10/26. Will let you know my experience and what seats I -hopefully- get.

Did anyone go today?  Any word on seat location and/or how early people arrived?

I made a little detour this morning to pass by the Broadhurst Theatre just out of curiosity, and at 9:15, there were four people in line.

Melanie73: Did you mean to say 9:15? I was the second person in line today :)

I did Rush today (Thurs, 10/26), here's my experience:

I was there at 8am and was second in line.  Next person to join came at 9, the fourth shortly after that.  Slow additions until 10am, when there were 8 or 9 people in line.  Interesting that the line didn't really get crowded until after 9am. Could it be b/c it's a new Rush or it's Thurs?

The person behind me needed 3 tickets, so we partnered as I only needed one.  We got box seats in section E (odd #s) (not sure where I would have been seated if I had asked for a single ticket).  Will let you know how the view is. I've seen pics of row D which is really blocked, but this is further back. Crossing my fingers it's less of a partial view.

Temps are starting to come down in the City, so be mindful of that. 44th St was a bit windy - not the worst, but there was a constant wind today and the temp was low 50's.  I layered up and was fine.  There's a Starbucks and Junior's a block away on 45th St and the Marriott as well, in case you need to use the restroom.

Can't wait for tonight :)

Rush update:

I saw the show last night (10/27) in Box seat E1 (Mezz Right) and saw 96% of the show.  Missed 3 or 4 bits, but nothing major.  Going on the assumption that all box seats go through Rush, here are toughts:

-Boxes A, B, C are Mezz Left and D, E, F are Mezz Right. A and D are closest to the stage.

-You don't want seats in Box A (Mezz Left) or D (Mezz Right).  There is a large speaker right in front of this section, so your view is REALLY blocked. At my show, there was noone in box D and one couple in box A.

-If you can get a B or C box, those are better.  Boxes C and F are the best as they are the farthest from the edge of the stage. Being on Mezz Right, the bits I missed were all Ramin ANASTASIA Rush

-You get a great view of the rest of the theatre and the orchestra from the box seats.

-Each box has 4 seats, 1,2 and 3,4. The seats are regular chairs you can move to your preferred angle.

-At my show, there was noone in box F, so the other ladies in my box moved to Box F after intermission.

Hope this helps any future Rushers.

I rushed today, Sunday 10/29. I got there at 9:15 and was 5th in line by the time the box office opened there were 12 people. They only sell ten tickets so I got the last 2.

Has anyone done the rush THIS week?

Still ONLY box seats?

What time did you/others arrive to the line?

Thanks in advance for the info.

All ten were box seats on Sunday. The other people in my box won the lottery. I was F 3 and 4 I could see almost everything. The first person in line had gotten there at 8.

Two far-side Orchestra seats were part of rush today.

I am assuming they are partial-view just as the box seats.

Yeah, I had far sides in April and missed Ramin in his office scenes completely, which is mainly why I’m seeing this again

Thanks for the heads up on view quality. Would you recommend this or SRO as a better view for someone seeing the show for the first time?

Since the show isn't selling out anymore I don't believe that SRO is available lately.

Is it worth trying to sit on the other side to catch Ramin's bits, or do you miss more important parts?

Zerf77:

I did try to pay attention to what was going on stage right during the show to "compare" the box locations. From stage left, I know what I heard and didn't see only ANASTASIA Rush

If your goal is to see as much of Ramin as possible, then the A-C boxes are better as a most of his "scenes" are stage left or center. I didn't feel there was anything of great substance that you will miss from the A-C boxes.

Hope that helps!
Carmen

Planning to rush this Saturday, so I wanted to make sure that I know what's up:

Are all tickets for both shows done in the morning? I'm looking to go to the evening show. Also, has anyone rushed recently, or does anyone have an educated guess as to what arrival time makes sense? Thanks!

Hey! Any recent updates on when people have been getting there?
