Saw this off-off-Broadway production this evening. It is at Teatro Circulo.

It grabbed my attention because it is about the woman who set the historic Hayman fire in Colorado in 2002. I was living in Denver at the time and remember it. And the ash falling from the sky!

The creators decided to portray her life before during and after the fire. We don't really know everything about what happened before the fire but it appears the writer went with the angle of trouble in her marriage. This supports the reason the real person, Terry Lynn Barton, says she started the fire. By burning a letter from her husband in the forrest.

While not interactive, you get that feel when you walk into the room where the show is presented. It is rather cool and you sit on benches. There are also some nice projections. Solid acting all around. You are close enough to see the expressions on their faces and at times even in their eyes. It pulls you in.  Really nice lighting, music and sound effects.

They told us this is their first production. I think they are off to a good start.

Just give the world Love.
