I don't see why. The same could be said about any other show. And the best way to fight the tragedy of political correctness is rising above it and go for the arts.
I was going to go on about how busy her career is and how she would NEVER consider nor have time to even devote to the months of rehearsals these live TV events endure but based on how she's managed to successfully work on a handful of projects simultaneously, if this were ever produced I wouldn't doubt she wouldn't consider it based on all the various entertainment platforms she's tackled perfectly in the past.

Phan24, uhm, yes. Because in this Evita case, like the article explains, the Latinx is not a race, Latinx people come in all shades and all races. By their very nature Latinx people are a complex mix of ethnic groups from indigenous American peoples. Latinx people are not all unified by skin color or ethnic background. What unifies Latinx people is their shared culture”
So complaining about the color of an actor in Evita is rude and racist.
Since the live musical broadcast became a thing again with SofM, I've said if someone WAS gonna do a live Evita, I want NO ONE but Nicole Scherzinger...anyone who's heard her do this material I hope would agree, she actually has the goods to deliver.
I love her, but rather than Evita, I have always thought that she would make an ideal Miss Adelaide if they ever did a live Giys and Dolls, (if a bit young).
