I used it a few years ago when it was $35 a month (which pays for itself if you see 3-4 movies a month). So it's a steal at this price.
I liked it. Make sure you have a reliable smart phone because you need the app to reserve your ticket beforehand. Another point: I'm not sure if this has changed given the rise in reserved seating, but the app would only allow you to reserve your ticket if you were at the theater (or in proximity).
But it's easy to use, no black out dates/times, and absolutely worth it during Oscar season if, like me, you want to see everything.
I've used it for years and love it. The only thing about it that I don't like is that you can only get your tickets 30 minutes prior to showtime so if you want to see a movie on opening night or at a very popular time, it probably won't be good for you. But I've gotten used to that.
Wait, can you clarify...if the theater uses reserved seating, you have to be at the theater to reserve your seat? You can't do it from your home on the app? That would make it not worth it for me.

Yeah, you actually have to go to the theater to reserve your seat. Kind of annoying, especially with more and more theaters converting to reserved seating.

See, all three of the theaters near me are exclusively reserved seating now, so this wouldn't be worth it for me.
I had it in like 2013 at the $35 a month price and I saw like 80+ movies that year. Problem was I completely burned myself out and ended up having no desire to ever go anymore. I've legit maybe seen 5 movies in that time since in the theater.
I had no complaints about the service until they added that stupid 24 hour clock which I'm not sure if they use anymore or not.
Also apparently AMC is looking to end their partnership with movie pass so that's something to consider as well.
