Omg I am SO excited to see that!!! That's a really great sign that they're not packing up the props just yet!!

Aside from the survey 2 weeks ago did anyone else get another one today? It came from the lotto program GHD uses but I'm pretty sure was just about GHD. The email said "we want your thoughts on a current Broadway musical, as well as on Broadway shows in general." Then the 3 questions were: which of these shows (listed the new 2017 season) have you heard of, which would you like to see, and have you been to Groundhog Day?

And then when the survey was complete the page redirected to GHD's website.

I thought that was really interesting. Maybe if you click that you haven't seen it they ask more questions? Either way I'm excited to see that more work is being done to figure out what's not working with the marketing and if/how it can be fixed.

I got the same survey today as well.  I also answered that I'd already seen it and got the same redirect.  Your post made me curious so I went back and did it again, this time saying I hadn't seen it:

Questions are similar to the other survey:

What did you think of GHD the movie?

How your opinion of the movie impacts your interest in the musical.

How these things impact your interest/disinterest in the musical:  Olivier Award for Best Musical, Olivier for Best Actor/Andy Karl, OCC Award for Best Actor/Andy Karl, Reviews, NY Times Critic's Pick, Music & Lyrics by Tim Minchin, Music & Lyrics by Matilda Composer, Book by GHD Screenwriter.

Then ranking 3 pull quotes based on how compelling they are.

Choosing the statement that describes your interest level in GHD the musical.

Whether you have tickets or how likely you are to buy tickets.

How much you want to spend on tickets versus how much you pay for other shows.

Gender/age/location questions.

Redirect to GHD ticket page.

That is really cool and I hope it's a good sign.

I got this survey too and thought it was a little weird. I also answered that I had seen the show before and was redirected to the official webpage and that was the end of it. But it makes much more sense with alle those questions that 10086Sundays posted about.

I really, really hope they will make it a little longer. I mean, there's no chance for me coming back to see it again from Europe but I just want them to do well. They deserve it.

Anyway, may I just hijack this topic for a second? Does anybody know if they have a souvenir brochure at the theatre now? They didn't have one when I saw it in May and I would love to get one for my collection. I checked playbillstore but they have almost no GHD merchandise.

They didn't have them, or plans to produce one, as of a couple weeks ago. Personally, I doubt they will do it, unless their grosses improved for a significant period of time.  The cost vs reward just isn't there for a show in the red and I'm not sure how good their merch sales are to begin with.  I'll ask though, next time I'm there.

That's very nice, thank you.

I thought so too, but the last information I got was that they still did not have them in early June and I haven't heard anything else so I was hoping they may have produced a brochure by now.

I saw the show back in April and thought their merchandise was one if the worst collections I'd  ever seen. So boring.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I'll admit I bought the "If I Had My Time Again..." baseball-style t-shirt.  My one complaint is they're all unisex sizes, and start at medium - I need to take some seams in on mine.

The plush groundhogs aren't my thing, but they're pretty cute.

Yeah tbh I would love a t-shirt that just says "Groundhog Day the Musical" but they don't have any. There's something really fun about owning a t-shirt that you've seen the cast of the show wear, (I have Bandstand and Anastasia) but I'm not so into the grey "clock" t-shirt.
